9 - Classmate Blog Critique

Classmate Blog Critique

One of the blogs that I really liked this semester is Steelee's blog. Her blog is very visually appealing and I really like the layout that she is using, it used to be the layout that I chose for my blogs in other classes. The Pink and White theme is looking very good together and the color makes her blog look "fun". It is also very visually appealing because she is using the same templates of titles and how she writes her blog posts, in other words, it all follows a red thread. I think the way her text is positioned in the middle of the page makes the posts look very professional and it is something different than the traditional way to the side of the page. 

One of my favorite posts that she has done this semester is number 7, binge-watching. I like how she put the post together and is able to make the audience interested in the post with only a few sentences in the beginning. Her "intro" makes the readers interested immediately and want to continue reading. In this post and in the rest of her work she is doing a great job of always finding good and relevant media. She always finds great pictures and videos that make it possible to dig deeper into her topics. Her way of finding good and accurate pictures and videos makes it fun to read the posts. 

I have also enjoyed listening to her presentations in class and I really like how she is storytelling her posts. 

Steele's blog posts are overall well-written and interesting to read. I think she is doing a very good job with her work.
