3 - Product Review
Canon EOS Rebel SL3 is Canon's lightest and smallest EOS DSLR camera, it has high image quality, a vari-angle touch screen, and built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth Technology with Auto Image Transfer. This makes it very easy for me to capture the pictures and videos and quickly save them to my phone in only a few seconds. I bought the camera for $900, but now you can buy one on Canon's website for $749. I think the price is good, not too much and not too cheap.
The camera can be classified as a beginner camera and I do see myself possibly moving on to a more "complicated" camera once I have used this one for a while. But as of right now, this camera is working perfectly for what I am doing with my media creations. I have also bought more lenses that are compatible with this camera and that helps me to step up my game a bit. I have noticed how there are some settings that I don't have on my camera, that my friends have on their cameras, and that I wish I would have too. Settings that help with indoor video and photo shooting are missing from my camera just because it is classified as a "beginner" camera. The camera is very easy to use and it even offers a guide on how to use the settings in the camera where it explains all the settings and why they are necessary.
I like the Wi-Fi and Bluetooth Technology that the camera has because in some situations I need to quickly get my pictures or videos to my phone, and usually it only takes a few seconds to get the content downloaded to my phone. Once you want to download the images and videos you get the option to reduce the quality of the picture or keep it the same, which allows me to still have very good quality videos downloaded to my phone.
The only negative thing I have noticed with my Canon SL3 is that it sometimes struggles with Autofocus when something is moving really fast, which has been a struggle for me in most cases since I am shooting sports videos and the movement is very fast no matter what sport I am shooting. Sometimes the camera is choosing to focus on a thing in the background instead of the bigger thing in front that I want to get a good video of. I have learned how to somewhat work around it and now I know how to use it to work with me, but it still sometimes ruins some shots that could have been looking very good.
Overall I am very happy with my Canon SL3 and I like that I decided to buy it in white because it makes my camera stand out to many other cameras, and I think it is much prettier. Here are some photos I have taken with the camera.
